The RBM-50-A2L (R-454B/R-32) TX Refrigerant Base Module w/ RDS Kit is the R-454B / R-32 (A2L) configuration of the RBM-50 Refrigerant Base Module — a heat-pump-ready TX refrigerant cooling coil designed to install directly under a Hi-Velocity SDHV air handler as the module base. Rated for 1.5–2.0 tons of cooling (18–24 MBH TX cooling capacity). Ships with the Refrigerant Detection System (RDS) Kit — mitigation board plus pre-installed refrigerant sensor — required for A2L (R-454B/R-32) installations under the 2025 refrigerant regulations.

Applications
The RBM series installs as the base module under the air handler (T-brackets, integrated drain pan) — the standard configuration when the air handler is being purchased as a heating unit and the cooling stage is added at the same time. For retrofit cooling on an existing installed air handler, use the RCM series (which mounts on the return-air side with L-brackets).
