The HE X 25' UFD R8.4 Flex (1) is a 25' length of Hi-Velocity HE (2 ¾" Ø) Unassembled Flex Duct (UFD) insulated to R-8.4. Ships in the carton quantity noted in the part name.
HE Flex is engineered as a direct alternative for two 2" flex runs in a Hi-Velocity System — one 10' length of HE duct equals two 10' 2" flex lengths. No changes are required to air-handler selection or main-plenum duct sizing.

Applications
Branch runs from the main supply plenum to the vent-plate outlets. R-4.2 for conditioned spaces, R-8.4 for unconditioned attics/crawl-spaces. Standard run length is 10' or 15' for correct airflow and sound attenuation; runs shorter than 10' should be coiled to maintain the 10' minimum, and runs may be extended up to 25'.
