Hi-Velocity HE-Z-71-BU-220v Air Handler
The HE-Z-71-BU-220v is the 220V configuration of the HE-Z-71 zoning-capable air handler in Hi-Velocity's Small-Duct High-Velocity (SDHV) fan-coil line — engineered for hydronic heating, TX or chilled-water cooling and heat-pump applications, controlled by a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) motor and PSB pressure-sensing board that maintain constant supply-air static pressure from 0.35–1.65 in. w.g..
Key features
- 22 gauge sheet-metal cabinet with white polyester powder coating and 1" sound-attenuating insulation
- G-90 forward-curved centrifugal blower driven by a WEG CFW-10 Variable Frequency Drive
- Pre-wired PSB (Pressure Sensing Board) controller — automatic or manual VDC modes, trim pots for cooling/heating/recirculation, fan-delay timer, potable-water pump timer, emergency disconnect
- Multi-positional: horizontal, vertical or counter-flow; suspended or floor-mounted
- Compatible with RBM/RCM refrigerant cooling, WBM/WCM chilled-water, HWC hot-water and ESH/VESH electric strip coils
- Zoning-ready right out of the box — WEG controls pre-installed
- CSA / UL listed; complies with ASHRAE, ARI and DOE standards

Applications
The HE-Z Series is the flagship Hi-Velocity SDHV air handler — ideal for retrofits, historic homes, custom builds, high-end multi-family and commercial fit-outs where conventional ductwork won't fit or where zoning, dehumidification and superior air filtration are required. Its VFD-driven pressure-controlled fan supports two-stage heating and cooling, constant fan, economizer operation and heat-pump back-up in a single factory-assembled unit.
