Hi-Velocity ESH-650-15 kW Electric Strip Electric Strip Heater

The ESH-650-15 kW Electric Strip is a 15 kW electric strip heater from the ESH-650 family — a 2-stage strip module compatible with up to 2 heating zones. Fits HE-Z/HE-B/HE/HV-50/51 BU, CU-51 BU (5–10 kW only), LV-Z/LV-B-750/751 BU, LV-50 BU. Wires directly to the air handler's zone-valve terminals (W1/W2) for staged heating operation.

• 2-stage electric heating with TH-24 electronic sequencer (staged element energization)
• Automatic-reset thermal cut-out safety discs — open control circuit at set point, re-close when temperature normalizes
• Wires to air-handler W1/W2 zone-valve terminals (polarity-sensitive)
• Optional outdoor-thermostat staging on 15–23 kW units (limits second-stage use for energy savings)
• Front-panel-accessible high-voltage wiring diagram
• Slides into the BU (blower-unit) air handler on the supply side

Applications

Primary or supplemental heating for Hi-Velocity BU (blower-only) air handlers, including heat-pump auxiliary heat installations. For applications that require more than 2 zones of electric heat, use the VESH variable-zoning electric strip module instead.
